About
Growing up with a blend of Southern gospel and superstitious hoodoo that the Appalachian Mountains are known for, Amy Mays spent most of her childhood reading and telling stories instead of going outside and getting in trouble. She wrote short stories and articles as a freelance ghostwriter for many years, writing stories in the romance, sci-fi/fantasy, and YA genres. She published her first novel, Love at First Ring, under her maiden name Amy Linebaugh with independent publisher CZYK Publishing in August 2021. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing through Full Sail University.
Mission
The goal of the author is to create stories and characters for those who ever felt like they were the "other". To give the neurodivergents like herself stories that reflect who they are, and to show that happily ever after is not just for the beautiful, rich, and powerful, but for the weird, the goofy, and the broken.
